Rebuilding Ukraine’s Medical Infrastructure
Digitalization, Data Protection, and AI Integration in the Healthcare Sector
On October 9, 2024, a workshop will be held dedicated to advancing Ukrainian-Swedish cooperation in the healthcare sector. The event will bring together leading healthcare professionals, Swedish medical equipment manufacturers, investment companies, and IT firms to discuss joint initiatives aimed at modernizing and rebuilding Ukraine’s medical infrastructure amidst current challenges.
Key discussion topics include:
- Reconstruction and modernization of healthcare facilities with a focus on resilience to external factors
- Digital solutions for remote patient care in resource-constrained and restricted mobility environments
- Managing healthcare institutions in crisis situations
- Environmental solutions in healthcare and medical waste management
Special attention will be given to project presentations from three Ukrainian healthcare institutions, selected for their reliability and successful experience in international cooperation. These projects represent various healthcare sectors and regions of Ukraine, offering concrete solutions for both current and future challenges.
The goal of the workshop is to discuss strategies, develop practical solutions, and establish long-term partnerships that can be implemented in both the short and long term to improve Ukraine’s healthcare system. Participants will explore the potential for integrating advanced technologies and approaches, aiming to drive meaningful change in the Ukrainian healthcare landscape.
